Trips in 1999

We have had some good outings this year and those who haven't come have really missed out. Our season's opener was a visit to the Norfolk Broads culminating in a jaunt up the river in various small and underpowered boats. The weather was superb.
There have been several evening runs, all well supported, usually with 30+ bikes. The last run of the season was a day trip to Derbyshire for a pub lunch. Great lunch, shame about the weather! However, we all enjoyed it and we filled the pub to bursting.

The best trip of all was TJ's visit to Southern Ireland for 5 days in October. Whilst we suffered pestilence and gales here, he and 8 other bikes moved from Guinness to Murphy's across to the Ring of Kerry. Here's the photograph of the whole team standing looking smug outside Fitzgerald's in Ballykissangel (which, of course, it isn't really!)

Get in touch if you fancy joining us on the next one.
